Wave caddy

Thrown using porcelain in two parts, the inspiration for these caddies was to produce a piece of art which could also be functional.

The caddy has been decorated using a mixture of sea-themed blue and green slips, oxides and underglaze watercolours to produce a lively design on this elegant shape. The ‘wave’ decoration has been left matte and the areas above and below are finished in a glossy white glaze.

Container is 10cm high; 13cm in total and is 8.5cm across. (I have small hands and they fit inside easily.)

These elegant, statement pieces will steal the show in your kitchen or bathroom or add a focus to your shelf.

The knob is also unglazed for ease of use, and is mainly in blue, however there is one green knob.

Each piece is glazed to temperature of 1250 C, and is fully water-tight.

I take care to package each one beautifully, using recyclable materials.
