Petal bowl

These ‘petal’ bowls have been designed for displaying your favourite blooms in an ‘Ikebana’ style using a pin flower frog (which is not included).

Handthrown out of the purest white porcelain, the bowls are then altered to form a ‘petal’ rim, and are glazed in a glossy duck-egg blue glaze).

The bowls vary slightly in size from between 11-13.5cm across and around 6.5cm high).

Each bowl has a delicate turned foot, giving the bowl more elegance and my makers mark is in the base. Most (but not all) of the green bowls feature an attractive swirl in the base.

Or, the bowls could be used for serving ice-cream, or as snack bowls.

These bowls were not ‘production’ thrown so there exists small differences in shape and form; making each one slightly unique. You will receive one which is not exactly, but is very similar to the photograph.
