Handthrown porcelain ripple cup with hand pulled handle (new design)

For many traditional potters only a hand-pulled handle will do in terms of comfort and design, so I decided to add a new mug variant to my collection which continues to sit within the existing family of mugs.

The new mugs are slightly wider than the existing range, and handle is slightly more snug. Made using the purest white porcelain, this cup has been glazed in a variety of winter shades: white/inky blue; white bronze; pink/blue and plain pink.

It was thrown on the wheel in my garden studio.

A mug that you will long to hug..

The throwing lines reveal a subtle undulating texture reminiscent of gentle waves or shifting sands, and serve as a reminder of the hand that made them.

With a narrow handle. for a comforting two finger grip hold , this is sure to be your newest favourite cup for a reviving brew, hot chocolate or relaxing herbal tea.

Around 7cm high and 9cm across (there will be variations since these are handmade)
