Flower frog vases with detachable lid

This new vase design has been inspired by my journey to grow @dahliabeach dahlias. I sought advice from several florists about the perfect vase and one suggestion was a detachable lid with holes, similar to a traditional rose bowl.

I’ve kept the design simple and slightly curvy. It measures around 8cm 8.5cm high and 9cm across and is perfect for creating an arrangement for flowers like roses and dahlias with heavy heads, since it means you can position the flowers more easily; and the delicate stems are supported.

It has been glazed in a matte white glaze; and there is a variation with an embossed flower design.

The porcelain vase is handthrown on the wheel and the lid is made from a flat piece of clay and has varying sized holes (6mm and 10mm).

It comes thoughtfully and sensitively packaged in recyclable materials.
