Handbuilding a beautiful porcelain vase - Mothers Day workshop.
Bring your Mom, a friend or come alone to this porcelain hand-building workshop, taking place in the wonderful Grace and James wine bar, in their function room at the back.
Learn how to make a stylish, cylindrical small vase (measuring up to 13cm in height) or make two smaller tea-lights. And then decorate it using classic blue and white japanese tissue paper or use slips and underglaze for a free-style pattern.
We will be using porcelain paper clay for its light weight, and strong hand-building qualities.
On completion I will provide a posting box, you will wrap and label the box and then I will send it back to you in this box once I have fired and glazed the inside.
Each workshop ticket of £55 includes a glass of wine, firing and postage costs.
No experience necessary; but its sure to be a relaxing and fun evening.
