Petal display bowl

I’m so excited to launch these new ‘petal’ bowls which I’ve designed for displaying your favourite blooms in an ‘Ikebana’ style using a pin flower frog (which is not included).

Handthrown out of the purest white porcelain, the bowls are then altered to form a ‘petal’ rim, and are glazed in a pretty dusty rose pink (which has tiny darker flecks in it).

The bowl measures approx 12.5cm across and 6cm deep.

Each bowl has a delicate turned foot, giving the bowl more elegance and my makers mark is in the base.

Or, the bowls could be used for keeping nick nacks or dried foodstuffs. I haven’t tested these bowls for thermal shock since their main purpose is to display blooms, so I don’t recommend them for hot food like soups.

These bowls were not ‘production’ thrown so there exists small differences in shape and form; making each one slightly unique. You will receive one which is not exactly, but is very similar to the photograph.
