I'm so enjoying co-hosting #wipsandblooms, especially in this special month, when we have seen autumn in all its glory. The gallery is brimming with cosy styled images of beautiful makes with flowers, and seasonal treasures including leaves, pumpkins and chestnuts. Thank-you to everyone who has played along.
In case you missed my favourites from earlier in the month, here they are and go and check out @aplayfulday's choices too on her Instagram account.
I've really loved seeing everyone's interpretations of #wipsandblooms since I joined as a co-host, with Kate from @aplayfulday, for this hashtag, a little over a month ago. We all love a bit of voyeurism and it feels like a privilege to see how people's makes evolve. So in this post I'm going to share some September favourites aswell as tell you what we have in store for October.
Earlier in the month I chose my favourites over on Instagram. In case you missed them they are below, and head over to @aplayfulday's IG account to check out her favourites from the month of September too.
Rather unusually for me, but I was drawn to all the soft pinks in these images. I think these hues seems to sum up September for me. But my favourite image has to be from @redagape_styleanddesign who is a wonderful designer, and has such a good eye for colour in her crochet. She shared a beautiful calming image using paper and real flowers to accompany her work-in-progress, which was also her #craftastherapy_favourite, and has a moving and personal story to go along with it, which I will leave you to discover.
