I'm so enjoying co-hosting #wipsandblooms, especially in this special month, when we have seen autumn in all its glory. The gallery is brimming with cosy styled images of beautiful makes with flowers, and seasonal treasures including leaves, pumpkins and chestnuts. Thank-you to everyone who has played along.
In case you missed my favourites from earlier in the month, here they are and go and check out @aplayfulday's choices too on her Instagram account.
The image that really caught my eye was a little tongue-in-cheek in such a tasteful way. I love this talented lady's account which is always brimming with creativity, but I really think that autumn is definitely her season - if you have a little look you see why..... Congratulations to Madeline @bymeeni, who wins a bundle of goodies from the independent store @mimosastreet.
The focus for my own work this month has been for an exhibition In Burton at the Brewhouse which included wall-art, for which I showcased a new range of bambino bubble planters in white as well as grey. So keep an eye out for the finished pieces. In the meantime here was the #wipsandblooms - complete with rough edges which get tidied up afterwards; as well as being sanded down after the first firing.
October has also seen me gearing up for the busy festive season, and on that note Kate from @aplayfulday and I thought it would be nice to offer a set of three porcelain snowflakes for November's prize.
I'm looking forward to seeing all your gorgeous styled photos of makes and seasonal blooms adding to our lovely #wipsandblooms gallery next month. Do also join in with @silverpebble and her #making_winter hashtag to keep us cheery as we enter the following season.
